Operating time

Daylight only (one-half hour before sunrise to one-half hour after sunset) Monday through Saturday. No travel on Sundays. Loads between 120-150 feet in length are further restricted to a window of time from 9am-3pm Monday through Friday.

Oversize loads cannot travel on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, or Christmas Day. Oversize loads cannot travel when visibility is less than 500 feet. No travel is permitted from noon the day before major holidays or holiday weekends. Oversize loads cannot travel when other weather conditions make travel hazardous.

Signs

“Oversize Load” signs front and rear of any overwidth or overlength vehicle. Flags must be placed at front and rear corners of any overdimensional load or vehicle. Over 4′ rear overhang requires lights at night. (Over 5′ needs permit, and can’t run at night). There are no sign or flag requirements for over height only or overweight only loads.
